Dreams

A couple of years ago, I was handed a camera and told to practice taking photos in preparation for a journalism study abroad trip. I instantly fell in love with storytelling through the lens of a camera. Documenting life and getting to hear other people’s stories has brought me so much joy.

With that being said, I wanted to push myself and approach the act of photography in a very different setting. I planned out scenes, set them up, played around with studio lights, and frequented Photoshop to create moments that represented some of my recent dreams. My end goal was to use my love of storytelling in a more fictional way and with a lot of trial and error I was left with some fun results.
